August 2022: feedback transdisciplinary team

During three wonderful days in August, the Transdisciplinary Team (TT) delved into the participants' thought exercises and reflections on freedom. They read and discussed the contributions of the five participating groups with great interest and growing amazement. Not only did the five groups chose five totally different ways to approach the concept of Freedom, resulting in an inspiring wealth of ideas; they also selected a great variety of communicative forms to share their thoughts.

Their aim was to discover, remember and cherish. But also to question, learn, translate, connect, reflect and pass on. In a 'voluntary' three-day quarantine, they formulated together an answer to the ideas and questions the young people presented to them in the form of an open library of conversations, reflections, and sources of knowledge.

Their feedback was captured in text and video. As part of the transdisciplinary team, Koen Vanmechelen linked each theme to a work of art, as a tool for reflection and regrouping and as a source of inspiration for this next step

For an overview of the discussions and ideas that the submissions triggered in the transdisciplinary team, please see the document Chapter Freedom Workshop Transdisciplinary Team Summer 2021’. This document is an analysis of the input, based on the contributions received from each of the five reflection groups. In this document, you’ll see how the transdisciplinary team came up with ‘recommendations and tools’, to help the participants continue your their process.
