On show is the Guardian of Protection
The goddess guards the realm of humans. The body is made out of white marble. The egghead bears a black coloured bird. This stony woman-deitie is the divine keeper of a new idea, of a new form of life. She is the one that gives life, and she invariably suffers for it because she has the responsibility to guard it with her life. The Guardian of Protection has a hawk on her head. The bird rests on her head, not a human head but a fossilized egg. What once grew inside the head, left it.
