Koen Vanmechelen is invited by Rad-Art, a group of art-loving doctors of AZ Delta to present his works at Radar AZ Delta hospital Roeselare.
Vanmechelen, known for his collaboration with scientists, shows different artworks, mainly focused on his world-renowned Cosmopolitan Chicken Project. Radar is AZ Delta's scientific forum located in the main campus of the hospital AZ Delta; an interesting base for this event: Science meets Art, Art meets Science.
The exhibition includes an academic session with besides Vanmechelen, lectures by Chido Govera, social entrepreneur and founder of The Future of Hope and science philosopher and co-writer of This is Not a Chicken; Geerdt Magiels.
All proceedings go to Govera’s Future of Hope Foundation.
