COSMOGOLEM MEETS TOMORROW’S COSMOPOLITANS
Educational package for primary schools (4th to 6th grade)
What do tomorrow’s cosmopolitans dream of? Pupils will go on an interactive journey through LABIOMISTA, the evolving work of art by Koen Vanmechelen and a metaphor for a changing world. Following in the footsteps of Vanmechelen's CosmoGolem, an international symbol for children's rights, students reflect on their rights and responsibilities in the world of tomorrow, which they are helping to create.
The group sets out with a wooden miniature of a CosmoGolem. The artwork contains various drawers, which contain the educational materials that are needed along the way. This is an interactive tour through the 24-hectare park, during which the children will be introduced to the topics via game elements, group activities and conversations.
