LABIOMISTA - Studio Koen Vanmechelen is seeking an enthusiastic intern (m/f/x) in photography and video during The Unthinkable Experiment in June/July 2024; a groundbreaking project aiming to give voice to the new generation.
What?
In July 2024, the fourth chapter of The Unthinkable Experiment will commence: Chapter Future Garden. A summer residency and knowledge experiment challenging young people to contemplate a sustainable future, inspired by art and interaction with each other. To capture this project, we are searching for a creative mind with audiovisual talent. Come work in the fertile zone between imagination and research, art and science, nature and culture!
LABIOMISTA is the permanent and evolving artwork of Koen Vanmechelen in collaboration with the city of Genk. As a powerful cross-pollination of art, science, and society, LABIOMISTA is an ode to the mix of life.
What we expect
As an intern, you will provide audiovisual support during The Unthinkable Experiment. We expect you to capture the project pleasantly and freshly through various photos and videos. You should know about post-production (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.) and video editing (Adobe Premiere, etc.).
